So for today's talk, this is about a Korean Cafe and Restaurant that just opened last December 2014 here in Davao City and for the second time, me and my friends walked through the doors of Gangnam Davao and sorry because I don't have a photo of their place but I can say that the place has a very good ambiance and a Wi-Fi connection that is very suitable for Koreans, professionals and K-Pop lovers too.
Anyway, here's what we've ordered from their menu:
SWEET POTATOES
If you are familiar with the famous Filipino food, Nilusak na Kamote, Gangnam Davao's Sweet Potatoes taste are similar with it. With its soft yellow texture, kids will also love eating this sweet delicious potatoes at an affordable price.
BULGOGI
before when I was staying in Cagayan de Oro, I always go to a certain Korean restaurant to eat Bulgogi and I can say that this is the second of the best Bulgogi that I have tasted. The beef is well cooked and there are a lot of spices but it's not as spicy as the Seafood Noodle.
OMELET
From what we have ordered, this is my favorite. the Omelet. You can get a taste of heaven from their omelet. I can also recommend this for a meal since they wrapped rice with scrambled egg and they put a lot of sauce which made this fabulous food the best for me.
SEAFOOD NOODLE
Another version of ramyeon, the Seafood Noodle, which is rich in shrimps, tahong, squid and spices that made it spicy yet very delicious compared to other noodles I tasted before. Not to mention, being a person that is particular on how restaurants cook their pasta or noodles, there's something different in the way they made or cooked the noodles which made me appreciate it more. The thing that made the Seafood Noodle taste great are the noodles and the seafood. If you're a seafood lover, you have try this big bowl of seafood noodle good for 2.
HONEY BREAD CARAMEL
My friend, Zeb (this was her treat) who works for Gangnam Davao, said that this is the best seller on their menu. The Honey Bread Caramel not only it has an enticing look but it definitely has an outstanding taste with the great combination of honey and caramel. This is where "don't judge the book by it's cover" applies because it just looks hard on the outside but it's soft and sweet on the inside. By the way, that is cream & chocolate on top of the bread.
OVERALL FEEDBACK: Excellent
Glorious food, nice place, good service and affordable price for the taste, place and service they render. The sidedishes are so good especially the Kimchi.
